Not too long after we bought the place I went to DirectStarTV.com to see if I could get some packages with DIY channels. I love being at home during the day but there are definitely times when I get bored and wish I had something to do to occupy my time. That’s why when my husband took this job out here I was actually excited since we had talked about it and decided to buy a house that needed some work so I’d have something to do during the day. Anyway, I’ve been totally consumed with things like paint colors and wainscoting and dealing with contractors but I love it – I only wish the real estate market was better so I could get into it! I love taking care of homes and doing things like that and this has been just what I needed to get over being bored at home all the time. I love my new “job” and my husband for giving me the opportunity to do this – it’s been so great for me.

Framing my kids’ leaf art

Back when I was growing up, my mom really encouraged my creativity and I think that I’m a more creative and smarter person because of it now. So I’m trying to do the same with my kids now. I encourage them to do all kinds of crafts and I love doing crafts with them too. They wanted to do some fall crafts last weekend, so I told them that we could figure out something to do that day.

We were running a little low on craft supplies, so I decided to go online and find a craft idea that we could do with just the leaves in our yard. While I was online looking up that stuff, I came across the site ClearWirelessInternet4G.com. I looked through it a little bit more and after that I decided to change over my internet service to that provider.

I found all kinds of ideas of art to do with leaves, so I let them go crazy with the craft supplies that we already had and leaves. In the supplies, I found some stuff to mat the art and frames, so I decided to frame it for them.

Local You Tube star joining other entertainers in concert event tomorrow

Higa, known for his comedy videos, has more subscribers than Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber. Tomorrow he’ll join up with other popular celebrity entertainers as part of the group YTF for a one of a kind show featuring singing, dancing and sketch comedy.

The YouTube marketing game can be hard to play. It’s still a fairly new way to market and everyone seems to have a different opinion on how it’s done. News of videos raking in 1 million+ views has every company dreaming of ways to get that kind of exposure with a built in attractive 20 something spokesperson.
Everyone is going after the YouTuber channels with 500,000+ subscribers in hopes they will make videos that will amass hundreds of thousands of views. That’s fishing in quite a small pond as there are a limited number of Weblebrities (web celebrities) to choose from within those parameters; and as the laws of supply and demand will tell you, the prices companies are having to pay to these few YouTubers are skyrocketing, making it seem like it’s only a worthwhile marketing option for companies with deep pockets.
